In reponse to the excessive commercialisation of microfinance and the commercial derrivatives it has led to, the Paris Appeal reminds the fundamental values of the sector and proposes a series of actions meant to improve its practices and impact.

Is government regulation stiffling cooperatives? An INAISE study

In October 2011, several INAISE organisations, meeting under the Aegis of the INAISE Banking Group, asked that INAISE carry out research on the title subject.

This research, the preliminary part of which is expected to be completed on 30.12.2011, could not be more well-timed, since after all 2012 has been selected as the year of international year of cooperatives.

To date, INAISE has received information on approximately 11 countries, and is actively working on expanding this knowledge base to many, many more.

En Octobre 2011, plusieurs membres d'INAISE, se rencontrant sous l'egide du Groupe des Banques, ont demandé à INAISE de réaliser un projet de recherche sur le sujet mentionné en titre.

Cette recherche, dont la première partie devrait être complètée pour le 30.12.2011 arrive parfaitement à point, puisqu'après tout 2012 a été séléctionnée pour être l'année internationale des coopératives.

Jusqu'a présent, des informations concernant pratiquement 11 pays nous sont parvenues; nous travaillons activement à l'expansion de cette base de connaissances!
