| The members of the International Association of Investors in the Social
Economy wish, in the conduct of the Association to foster and support the development of
finance organisations primarily in Europe, but not to the exclusion of Non European
countries, which invest in undertakings of an ethical, ecological, cultural, and
self-managing nature, including womens undertakings, undertakings of ethnic
minorities, in undertakings whose aims are concerned with people with disabilities,
healthier living, peace and the Third World, and in undertakings within the social economy
generally. The Members wish to support the development of finance organisations which
not only invest in ethical undertakings but also in the conduct of their own affairs and
their approach to money organise themselves in such a way as to develop working practices
which are supportive of the promotion of social investments for which the Association is
established
Categories of members
- Full members: finance organisations which carry on investment
activity in the social economy and which subscribe to the articles of
association
- Associate members: non-financial organisations, but who
support or work towards the development of what INAISE stands for and which
subscribe to the articles of the association. This may include
businesses, organisations, public authorities, groups of people or
individuals that are in the process of starting a financial
instrument, doing research, increasing awareness, giving or needing
advice to develop their own specific initiative or to support social
economy finance as a whole.
Admission
The admission of new full or associate members shall be subject to the
approval of the Board of Directors
