INAISE is currently advertising a job vacancy in Bochum,
Germany, for the position of
Network Manager, INAISE (f/m)
INAISE (the International Association of Investors in the Social
Economy) is a global network of financial institutions with
social and environmental orientation.
The not-for-profit association was created in 1989 and INAISE has grown
rapidly since, helped by the increasing presence and importance of
social investors in a number of countries around the world. INAISE joins
forces globally with investors from Norway to South Africa and from
Costa Rica to Japan exchanging experience and demonstrating to the world
that money can actually be a means to achieve positive social and
environmental change.
INAISE is a not-for-profit international association under Belgium law
and is managed by a Board of Directors, drawn from the members of
INAISE.
As INAISE develops its global mandate, it requires a young
multilingual person to be at the centre of communication amongst
members, the Board and other parties engaged or interested in social
finance.
The candidate should fit in the following profile:
To hold at least a master’s degree. Experience in a managerial position
is not essential but a wish to work in a socially oriented enterprise is
expected
To be fluent in English (both spoken and written) and capable of
conversing in French, Spanish and German
To have a strong interest in social and ethical finance and social
economy
Experience in project management both content and budget wise will be
very much appreciated
Excellent social, communication and writing skills are required as well
as good organisation, sense of responsibility and flexibility
Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural environment
Experience in office management and administrative tasks
Computer literate (word, excel, PPT, communication tools etc) and able
to manage a website
The selected candidate will have as main tasks:
To organise meetings, conferences, workgroups and other activities
(successful communication is especially necessary for activities on the
different continents)
To support INAISE members (working groups) and encourage new projects
To represent INAISE network during conferences and meetings and to
report on them
To manage INAISE website
You will be in charge of the daily management of the secretariat
including accounting and administration
You will work in Bochum, Germany
This is a unique chance to gain experience and grow into the role of a
global networker using organisational as well as social skills.
You must be a self starter, capable of working on your own initiative,
but also in close cooperation with Members and the nearby Institute for
Social Banking.
In the early months you will work with the present Executive Secretary
who is based in Brussels.
